COVID19 Precautions

We are still here for you - you are not alone.

Our emergency shelter is still in operation. We have put in additional policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our residents to help in reducing the spread of COVID 19.

Our counselors are still available by telephone for support and appointments.

Our child advocate has pulled together lots of activities for children, knowing that they are more than likely getting just as restless as we are. Stay tuned for posts throughout the following weeks for ideas.

Our legal advocate is still doing PPO's at this time, as well as handling violations, safety planning, crisis intervention and supportive counseling. Please make sure to call the shelter, as these look differently right now, but they are still being done.

For all other questions or support, please call our 24 hour crisis line at (517) 439-1454.

Please know that we know that this can be a trying time, and you are NOT alone.

Although we have made the decision to close our physical offices to comply with guidance and recommendations from the CDC and the State of Michigan during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are still here to support you! Staff are regularly checking email and voice mail and we are dedicated to responding as soon as possible

Every new piece of information that we receive from community resources are shared on there as well.
